Featured image for Search Partners Indicator in Keyword Data API

We will add a new field to the response of Google Ads and Bing Ads API endpoints - "search_partners" on December 22.

The new field will indicate whether the data from partner networks included in the response. It will help you to understand if the search volume is provided, including queries from partners’ websites.

The thing is, search volume highly depend on this parameter; please, take a look at this screenshot:

As you can see, the values do differ when including search partner networks. As it impacts the returned value, it makes sense to add this indicator for every keyword in the response.

So, we will add the "search_partners" field on December 22. It will have the following value by default:

"search_partners": false

If you specified this field as "true" in a POST array, it would have the "true" value respectively:

{
  "keyword": "iphone",
  "location_code": 2840,
  "language_code": "en",
  "search_partners": true,
  "competition": 0.9999989237162357,
  "cpc": 4.177162,
  "search_volume": 2740000,
  "categories": [
    10007,
    10019,
    10167,
    10872,
    10878,
    11511,
    12133,
    12161,
    13054,
    13381,
    13419
  ],
  "monthly_searches": [
    {
      "year": 2020,
      "month": 10,
      "search_volume": 2740000
    },
    {
      "year": 2020,
      "month": 9,
      "search_volume": 2240000
    }
  ]
}

Make sure your script will handle this case properly, or if you don’t want to use the "search_partners" indicator, simply ignore this field in the response.
